What you are actually buying

A licence, not a file. Every download creates a receipt naming your project and carrying its own token, and that receipt is what proves the use was licensed. The artwork is delivered from private storage through a link that expires; the receipt does not.

What attribution means on the free plan

One free image licence per asset, per account, for one named project — and the attribution text from the receipt, including the token, has to appear in your credits, description or documentation. Pro removes that requirement entirely. If you are making something where a credit line is awkward, that is the difference you are paying for.

What happens when you cancel

Licences you already have keep working. A receipt issued while you were subscribed stays valid for the project it names, and you can still download the file. What stops is creating new ones. Cancelling is done in the Stripe portal, not by emailing us.

Why annual is cheaper

It is ten payments for twelve months, so $5.98 USD stays with you. There is a second reason we would rather you took it, and it is honest to say so: a card is charged once instead of twelve times, and the processor’s fixed fee per charge is a large share of a $2.99 USD subscription.
